Traffic Flow Changes by 54th and Clyde Park

The intersection of 54th Street and Clyde Park is a busy one which can see big backups when cars are turning left from 54th Street into Meijer and other businesses.

A project currently being led by the City of Wyoming will result in a change to traffic flow at the intersection and into businesses designed to limit backups in the area.

The access drive to Meijer/Chick-fil-A/etc. is being moved. At the completion of the project, access will be either directly from the southbound off ramp or from a bigger left turn lane from 54th Street designed to reduce backups by allowing more cars into the turn lane.

The project will also create a new right turn lane for drivers heading east on 54th Street.
